CANYONING in Colombia

HeliJump & Whitewater Rafting Bundle

The HeliJump is a tour we originally created for Guatapé lake, but we were told to cease this activity due to noise complaints.

Due to its huge success and constant inquiries requesting the HeliJump, we’ve designed a new HeliJump tour combined with whitewater rafting!

This is a very exciting and unique adventure tour! This adventure tour really is one of the most special ones in the world. It has a Medellín helicopter tour where you get to see the entire city from the air. Furthermore, you have door off helicopter flying over green forests mountains, and then diving into deep jungle canyons. In one of these canyons, you will jump out of the door off helicopter into a remote pristine river to go white water rafting.

You will fly out of the local airport in downtown Medellin in a helicopter and fly over the city and the valley of Aburrá with its 10 municipalities towards a deep jungle canyon in the Andes mountains with a beautiful and untouched green river.

Jumping out of a flying helicopter into a remote jungle river to then go whitewater rafting!

The rafting team will be in the river waiting for you!

Here you will helijump into the water in a calm, flat water section where our whitewater rafting team will be waiting to scoop you out and go whitewater rafting for 10 miles through mystical deep jungle canyons and down Class III/IV rapids.

You will reach a takeout point where there’s a bridge and you will walk out to a LZ by the road where the helicopter will land and fly you back to Medellín.

The day before this tour you will be met with team members that will go through all of the logistics of this tour.

You will fly over the majestic Andes mountains and through deep canyons in a doorless helicopter in the most incredible scenery you can imagine until reaching the drop spot. The helicopter will then do a stationary maneuver over a section in the river with calm flat water and you will jump at team members’ command.

Rafting boats and safety kayaks will be in the water waiting. Helijump will happen in the area of 9:15 am.
