Private ATV Medellín Tours in the Mountains Around
Our ATV Medellín tours take you out of the city and onto real off-road mountain trails — through forests, farmland, and views of the Andes. These are private tours only, so you ride with your group and nobody else, at your pace, on 2025 Can-Am Outlander 650s.
No experience needed. The ATVs are automatic, and before you hit the trail we give everyone a full briefing at the shop, including an intro video in English. The controls are simple, so most people are comfortable within the first few minutes.
How the Day Works On Our ATV Medellín Tour
First, we pick you up at your hotel in El Poblado in a private vehicle with an English-speaking driver. Then the drive to the ATV shop takes about 50 minutes into the countryside east of Medellín. Pickup times vary based on which time slot you book, so we confirm your pickup time when you reserve.
Once at the shop, you watch a short intro video, get a safety briefing, sign in, and gear up. After that, you’re on the trail for two hours of riding through forests, mountain roads, creeks, and sometimes mud depending on the weather. Mid-ride, we stop at a restaurant for a break where you can use the bathroom, grab refreshments, and take photos of the waterfall there.
Finally, your driver takes you back to Medellín. In total, door-to-door time is about 4 hours.
What the Ride Is Like
The trails run through Colombian countryside — green mountains, small farms, dirt roads, and patches of forest. The terrain varies between hard-packed dirt, loose gravel, and mud depending on recent rain. In other words, it’s real off-roading, not a paved loop.
If it rains during the tour, we also provide plastic coveralls. Riding in the rain actually makes the mud sections more fun, and nothing about the tour changes — so we ride rain or shine.
Photo stops are built into the route. Therefore, you can take photos at designated stops with your own phone. However, no photos or selfies while riding — both hands stay on the handlebars the entire time you’re moving.
What Our Medellín ATV Tours Are NOT
This is not a race, rally, or stunt tour. Therefore we do not offer high-speed riding or anything designed to push limits dangerously. Reckless riding gets your tour canceled without refund — that’s in our terms, and we enforce it.
So if you’re looking for a stunt experience, we’re not the tour for you, and we’d rather tell you now than at the shop.

We always have tons of fun during our ATV tours! Some can be wet and muddy, others dry and dusty, but what never changes is the thrill and beauty of the surrounding nature.

Who Can Ride
- Minimum age to drive: 16
- Footwear: closed-toe shoes are mandatory. No sandals, flip-flops, or open shoes — no exceptions. In addition, this is a strict requirement.
- Clothing: comfortable, sporty clothes. Long pants are also recommended but not required.
- Alcohol: no alcohol before or during the tour. Furthermore, anyone under the influence at pickup has their tour canceled without refund.
At the shop, a $100 USD safety deposit per ATV is collected (cash or card) and returned in full at the end of the tour if no damage occurs. We maintain our ATVs in pristine condition, and with proper use they return that way. Also, full details on terms are included in the confirmation email we send after booking.
