The drive is 2 hours away from Medellin and super scenic. The white water rafting in itself was AMAZING, so much fun. I live in Colorado and have done it before many times, so I know a good river rafting experience! The rafting guides were great and very professional, and our driver shared a wealth of knowledge in regards to Colombian culture in a hilarious antidotes, back in the States he'd be up on a stage, that's how funny he was from start to finish. JD was our driver and was fun and also very informative - ask for him! Canyoning was really adventurous and had a mix of cliff jumping near waterfalls, sliding down rocks, and even zip lining. It was the perfect amount of adrenaline rushing without being too extreme. They provided wet suits and shoes. Make sure to bring socks and towels. Also would recommend eating before or at least in guatape. You get lunch after canyoning which is ~3pm. Very good tour, our guide and driver where very organized and the experience was very interesting. We would highly recommend Guanabana tours. The booking process was very easy, and the communication was excellent from start to finish. They answered any questions very promptly, either on email or WhatsApp. The tour itself was amazing. Our driver/guide for the day was brilliant and also the "sexiest driver" in Medillin!! He was very informative and great fun. The early pick-up meant we got to 'the rock' before the crowds, and there were fewer than 20 people up the top. Guatape is a beautiful little town, and we had a good amount of time to explore and have a beer in the square before we headed off for the afternoon's adventures. The paragliding was an incredible experience over beautiful countryside. Everyone thought it was amazing! Lunch was next, sat overlooking the valley and watching the paragliders. The final activity was the waterfall rappelling, which was challenging but exhilarating!!
