Landing at Guatapé, then a visit to the Rock of El Peñol and the town of Guatapé by boat. Then return flight to Medellín. Jet skis are an option too! Landing in La Manuela to play paint ball is also a super cool option!
This private helicopter tour from Medellin to Guatapé is a phenomenal way to see the city of Medellín and all the other cities of the Aburrá Valley from the air, fly over Park Arvi, the lake of Guatapé, and the Rock of El Peñol.
You are picked up directly at your place of residence and are transferred to the entrance of the airport hangars. The airport is the city regional airport, the Olaya Herrera, 5 minutes from El Poblado. From there the helicopter takes off and flies to Guatapé, the flight time is 25 minutes.
The helicopter lands close to the base of the El Peñol Rock where you are transferred to to the Rock. After you climb the 700 steps of the Rock and enjoy the incredible view, you come back down and you will then be ground transferred to the colorful town of Guatapé (5-minute drive) with all its zócalos (molded paintings on the facades of each and every home).
After the visit to the town of Guatapé and lunch, the helicopter will take you back to Medellín. At the hangars, your private driver will be waiting to take you back to your place of residence. The entire time spent in Guatape is 3 hours.
