This private helicopter tour from Medellin to Guatapé is a phenomenal way to see the city of Medellín and all the other cities of the Aburrá Valley from the air, fly over Park Arvi, the lake of Guatapé, and the Rock of El Peñol.

You are picked up directly at your place of residence and are transferred to the entrance of the airport hangars. The airport is the city regional airport, the Olaya Herrera, 5 minutes from El Poblado. From there the helicopter takes off and flies to Guatapé, the flight time is 25 minutes.

The helicopter lands on an island in the lake of Guatape where an English speaking team member and a boat is waiting for you. You are then transferred by boat to the town of Guatapé’s docks. It is a 12 minute boat ride.

From the town’s docks you will then be ground transferred to the world-famous Rock of El Peñol, a 5-minute drive. After you climb the 700 steps of the Rock and enjoy the incredible view, you come back down and you will then be ground transferred to the colorful town of Guatapé (5-minute drive) with all its zócalos (molded paintings on the facades of each and every home).

After the visit to the town of Guatapé and lunch, the helicopter will take you back to Medellín. At the hangars, your private driver will be waiting to take you back to your place of residence. The entire time spent in Guatape is 3 hours.
